7 Days Bongo Safari

Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart at 6.30 a.m and proceed North, driving through lush tea and coffee estates to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy arriving at 10.30 a.m. Check as well as have refreshments then proceed to visit the Boma to see some rare wildlife species. You will also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary this morning followed by lunch. After lunch, relax as you wait for the evening game drive. The game drive will be at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and at Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp.  Meal Plan {Lunch & Dinner}

Day 2: Ol Pejeta full day
Today we explore exotic Sweetwaters Sanctuary on two extensive game runs. The camp also overlooks one of the busiest waterhole’s in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game. This is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor. Our tents at Sweetwaters will remind us of this bygone era. Day 3: Ol Pejeta to Lake Naivasha
After an early morning breakfast at 7.00 a.m, depart Ol Pejeta and drive to Lake Naivasha via the Aberdare ranges where you will enjoy endless beauty of the mountains stretching to the horizons. You will have a brief stop at the Equator as well as at the Thompson falls. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in good time for lunch.  At 3.30 p.m, depart for an afternoon boat trip tour of the Lake and on to the crescent Island for bird watching as well as small game viewing for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Return to the Lodge at 5.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge or Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge Meal plan: {FB}

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Maasai mara
Have an early morning game drive and breakfast at then depart Lake Nakuru at 8.00 a.m followed by a 4.5 to 5 Hour drive to Maasai mara. Arrive Maasai mara in good time for lunch. Lunch will be at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, you will relax until 4.00 p.m time for your evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. Meal Plan{FB}

Day 5: Maasai mara
Have an early morning cup of coffee then depart for a game viewing session at 6.30 am to 8.30 am. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for another game viewing session that will last until 12.30 pm. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, relax until 4.00 pm time for your evening game viewing session which will last until 6.00 pm. Dinner and overnight at the  Mara Serena Safari Lodge .

Day 6: Maasai mara
Have  a full day of game drives with a break for lunch or optional packed lunch.  Dinner and overnight at the  Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Maasai mara to Nairobi
Having an early morning breakfast and a game viewing drive as you leave Maasai mara. Arrive at Nairobi in good time for lunch. You will have your lunch at the carnivore restaurant or the Tamarind restaurant. After lunch, you will be dropped off at your city residence/airport. Meal Plan{BL}
